4. Legal bases and sensitive information
We process personal data when this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, to perform an agreement, to comply with a legal obligation, or on the basis of your consent. Health information is sensitive personal data. Please use the open text field only to provide information that is necessary. If you enter health information, we will ask for your explicit consent to use it for your request. Data needed for the booking, payment, invoice and administration are processed to perform the agreement and meet statutory record-keeping obligations. 6. Retention periods

- Administrative records and invoices: for as long as applicable tax legislation requires.
- Session-related data: no longer than necessary for the purpose for which they were collected and any applicable legal obligations. Praktijk IK periodically reviews which data can be deleted.
7. Sharing data with others
We share data only where this is necessary to provide our services, operate the website or comply with a legal obligation. Praktijk IK uses Google Calendar for direct online bookings. When you deliberately load the online calendar or book an appointment there, Google processes the data needed to display the calendar and handle your booking. For more information, please read Googleās Privacy Policy. Where required, we enter into appropriate privacy and security arrangements with service providers that process personal data on our behalf. Praktijk IK does not sell your data.
8. Cookies and local storage
The website uses essential technologies to function properly and stores your cookie choice locally. The external Google calendar does not load automatically: your browser connects to Google Calendar only after you select āLoad calendarā. Google may then process technical data and use its own cookies or similar technologies. Praktijk IK does not place marketing or tracking cookies. If additional cookies are introduced in the future, they will be used only after you have given consent. You can make a new selection at any time using āChange cookie choiceā at the bottom of the website.
9. Security
Praktijk IK takes appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal data. Email and online forms can never be completely risk-free, so please do not send information that is unnecessary for initial contact.
10. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal data, or to receive eligible data in a portable format. You may also object to processing and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, please email info@praktijk-ik.nl. Praktijk IK may ask for additional information to verify your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
